Bertie Lord, Photography Studio

Bertie Lord was a Bitter Root Valley early local photographer who lived during the Victorian era.  This exhibit depicts the life of Bertie Lord and a timeline of photograph technology.  The Museum holds the Bertie Lord collection and much of his camera equipment.  This room was originally the Stenographer’s office in the Ravalli County Courthouse.
