Chaney said he wanted others to be able to enjoy the hobby that helped him extinguish his smoking habit, saying: “The Lord tapped me on the shoulder, telling me ‘cigarettes is a dumb way to spend my money; look for something else.’” The Clifford Chaney Model & Toy Car Collection with historical Bitterroot photos was on exhibit through 2020 at the Ravalli County Museum, now you can revisit the collection or visit for the first time through our virtual tour.
