Walk Through The Bitter Root – Hamilton

Take a journey in time through historical Hamilton with trains, apple orchard and farm implements. Logging and agriculture, the early industries of the Bitter Root Valley are showcased in this display.  The equipment is authentic and was used in the Valley.  The map displayed belonged to Marcus Daly, one of the legendary Cooper Kings. The murals depict what the valley looked like in the early 1900’s – from Conner to Hamilton.  These rooms were originally the Surveyor’s and County Attorney’s offices.
